Nice stop, where we were able to see several examples of clogs. The displays were nicely done. They had an area set up with equipment used to make them as well. We were able to try pairs on to see what they felt like. They offered seveal for purchase. It's worth the time to check out if you're in the area.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

They have videos to give information on clog making and where they are still worn. Entering the shop you will see displays of old machinery and half made shoes.

Walking along you will come to an area with thousands of pairs on the walls and ceilings and other gifts to remind you of the Netherlands.

Prices range from cheap to expensive. Magnets cos around €3 each.

Super outing. It’s amazing to see a working demonstration of how the klompen (clogs) are made. The staff working here are friendly and make an extra effort for English speakers which is so accommodating. They also had a really good rapport with the children making it super fun and entertaining for the while interesting for adults. Highly recommended. A must do while in the areas

Upon entering the workshop, you are immediately greeted by the pleasant aroma of fresh wood and the rhythmic sounds of carving and shaping. The skilled artisans are always happy to share their knowledge and expertise, making the experience engaging and educational.

The highlight of the workshop is undoubtedly observing the shoemakers in action. Watching them transform a plain block of wood into a perfectly shaped clog is nothing short of mesmerizing. The attention to detail and precision they demonstrate is a testament to their years of practice and dedication.

Kerewin, our amazing tour guide brought us here during our excursion. How cool it was to see clog making in action. Wild how far it's come yet how hands on it still is.
