A really beautiful building to visit. The film museum is very interesting with some great activities to complete regarding film making. The exhibits are well presented with good information provided on each one in Dutch and English. There are several film screens to enjoy different movies. There is also an exhibition space and cafe. The views looking back towards centrall station are great.

A wonderful film museum with different exhibitions taking place. I loved every minute of it and would highly recommend taking the ferry across to visit it. The ferry is free and leave about every 10 minutes, the time spent on the ferry in total is approximately 6 minutes. Enjoy yourself!

This is another one of those places that visitors to Amsterdam should go to. There are so many interesting and interactive elements to keep you entertained. A free ferry across the river and stunning view of the city if you want to venture next door to the Adam.

The cafe is great, nice views, comfortable seating, wifi, power outlets. It gets quite busy during lunch time.

I used my museum pass to check out the exhibitions. The permanent exhibition is tiny, not worth visiting in my opinion.

The temporary exhibition wasn't interesting to me either. I'm glad I didn't pay to visit. I would only recommend visiting the museum if there's a temporary exhibition that really interests you!

Extraordinary building and really nice museum. Worth a visit.
Also some cinemas here that show alternative movies - but mostly in dutch.
Good coffee in the cafe.

My main reason to visit was the flip book booth but turns out the printing machine is not currently working (so if you’re like me, you may be disappointed).

In the end the permanent exhibition was definitely more interesting than the films - there’s a lovely collection of cameras through the ages which I quite enjoyed.
