Compared to Voorlinden I was really disappointed with this museum. The exhibitions weren't really well curated, it was a bunch of random artifacts without any obvious connection, there were no descriptions, QR codes or anything that would have explained it, and it was very focused on Dutch history and culture. The highlight with the big playground and balls has a severe shortcoming which is that you're not allowed to take your phone but there's also no secure storage available, it's been really frustrating not being able to go and the museum staff were unwilling to help. We also got lost several times because the exhibition numbers don't correlate with the hall that they are shown in so until you understand that you run in circles. Lots of potential but poor implantation.

Great museum! It's not huge (up 1-1.5 hours I would say) but it can accommodate up to 8 exhibitions. I went today and there were 7 exhibitions on. I guess you should check upfront what exhibitions are on to see if there's something for you. It is always changing. Today all were very different, but all very beautiful, unique, thought provoking or fun! Interesting for children and adults alike and really a cool space. I don't normally like seeing the same-old classical paintings and get bored quickly, but kunsthal has a wide range with a good mix of modern and interactive. Would definitely recommend to others. Note: I went in with my museum card!

The museum is ok, however they should put direction signs. It's difficult to know which way to go since level 1 & 3 are next to each other 6 & 4... on different level, it's a bit messy. The big bouncing stage was soo much fun.

The museum consists of 7 different spaces, which regularly host different artists/ exhibitions. But ofc everyone of these can be visited with the ticket. Museum is well structured! Since the venues of the different spaces change regularly there probably is something for everybody anytime one visits!

The all star museum every time I go. Curation is always very curious and exciting, can be a bit crowded at times but it does not take away from the experience, the building itself is very peculiar and fun to walk through also. Never skip zaal 2, the routing and story telling there is always the best!

An amazing experience. Each exhibit was beautifully curated and at no point did we feel like cattle being moved through a processing facility which is in stark contrast to the Amsterdam MoCo. It didn’t feel cynically commercialized either; you could tell the curation was deliberate and thoughtful. Unrelated to art but the cafe serves a pretty banging gado gado :)

From the outside, you might think it is a traditional museum building, but when you go inside, you know you are wrong. One of the pavilions was under renovation when I went, and other exhibits were also fascinating.
